Integrated Framing for Luxury Interiors

Eaton Place Development

This listed property required fine art frames that were made-to-measure in order to fit neatly into the panelling of each room. Furthermore, each bedroom required bespoke headboard artworks with integrated frames.

We meticulously matched each frame's wood to the other wood finishes of the interior design. Gold leaf detailing on frames further highlighted the finishes of the rooms, as well as complementing gold accents within the paintings.

Solid Brass Frames for Matisse Drawings

Private Collector

An art collector with a selection of highly valuable Matisse drawings approached us to re-frame these cherished works. The brief was to specially develop a custom framing range made exclusively for the client.

We developed a solid metal frame, made from super-slim brushed brass, which subtly highlighted the works whilst remaining classically elegant.

Natural Finishes for Superyacht Interior Design

M/Y Aurora Borealis

The yacht's design concept featured a refined and subtle colour palette. We commissioned artworks with a focus on natural materials, and specially developed a range of artisan frames with natural finishes.

The sustainably sourced oak frames were completed with natural dye finishes that matched the yacht interior design elements, and were waxed to be hard-wearing.

Coherent re-framing for Middle East Villa

Private Collector

A private collector wanted a collection of 10 paintings to be re-framed for their Middle Eastern villa, in order to coherently bring together diverse works.

Working with exceptionally large canvases, we created oversized canvas floater frames that were suitable for the specific demands of framing at this scale. The sustainably sourced frames used beech wood with a natural black dye, and were finished with an accent of gold leaf.

Specialist Metal Finish Frames for Marine Projects

M/Y Sea and Us

Our experience in commissioning art for yacht projects led us to develop a bespoke framing range specially for the sea environment.

The range of polished stainless steel frames and anodised metal frames were specifically developed to withstand tarnishing. Artelier also developed security fixings to meet the sea-fastening requirements of the yard.

Aircraft Certified Framing for Private Jet

Private Client

Working to the safety requirements of an aircraft art project, we used 3D printing technology to recreate a frame profile the client liked in an aircraft-safe material.

The fully certified composite material was lightweight and compliant with flammability and toxicity regulations. The art frame was completed with a specialist metallic finish and aviation approved lacquer to give it a safe, yet high-end, finish.
