Vezzini & Chen’s work is defined by the artful marriage of hand carved ceramics and blown glass. The creative partnership brings together their two disciplines, materials and styles within unified compositions; the two sides and forms artfully interact, creating a compelling visual dialogue.
The artists bring these two aesthetic worlds together, combining fluid forms with intricate detail, texture and geometry. Their work is influenced by organic forms and microbiology, fascinated by the underlying structures and shapes within nature. Light plays a central role within the work, as they explore the refraction of light underwater and its reflections on coral and marine life.

About the Artist
Sheng Tsang Chen and Cristina Vezzini are a Taiwanese and Italian duo working from their London art studio. Stan and Cristina met while studying at the Royal College of Art in London, both graduating with an MA in Ceramics and Glass in 2012 and 2013.
Vezzini & Chen's work have been recognised internationally, exhibiting in the UK, Italy, Switzerland and Spain, as well as in New York, Dubai (UAE), and Seoul. They have been commissioned for public and private projects, including: private residences in New York, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and London, and 5* hotel art projects in Doha, Qatar and Japan. Vezzini & Chen also feature in commercial collections such as Aston Martin (London, UK) and Heals 1810 (London, UK). The artists are recognised by discerning art collectors in the Middle East & GCC (Dubai & Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) and internationally.
