Miller’s practice is focused on exploring the relationship between light and material, to create subtle yet complex aesthetics that respond to the site and the spatial dynamics of light. The control of texture using innovative design and fabrication techniques enables reference to imagery, movement and character, that has been tailored to individual clients and contexts.
Miller’s aesthetic is generated from the sophisticated fusion of technology with the hand-crafted. The resulting complexity of meticulously arranged components creates richness, tactility, depth and allure.

About the Artist
Giles Miller is a British artist, whose studio is based in the UK. He graduated with a Masters in Design Products from the Royal College of Art, before founding his innovative Giles Miller Studio. Miller and the Studio have been recognised by prestigious awards such as the Surface Design Awards, and won prestigious project commissions for RIBA.
Giles Miller's work can be found in worldwide collections, including in: Bahrain, China, Finland, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Monaco, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. The Giles Miller Studio has been commissioned by notable corporations, including luxury hotels (Conrad, Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton), commercial brands (Tiffany & Co, Harrods, Selfridges) and institutions such as the Design Museum in London and Kew Gardens.
