David Knowles

Founder & Creative Director

David has dedicated his career to working with contemporary artists. Prior to founding Artelier, he pioneered several Arts Council England funded galleries and projects that continue to support the careers of emerging artists and young curators. 

 

With a Masters in Fine Art, David is trained in art research, production and critique.  Guest lecturing at European universities, he is recognised for his market knowledge and curatorial experience.

Lucy Clark

Commercial Director

Lucy is highly personable individual with a truly international outlook. Having studied at Universities in France and Spain, she is a natural-born linguist who is fluent in four languages.

 

Lucy has over 15 years’ experience working as a Representative for Private Clients, as well as Client Director for multinational corporations. Lucy has built up a discreet network of private and corporate clients and through providing our trusted art advisory.

Alice Voss

Project Manager & Curator

Alice is a highly organised and professional individual who brings to the role over 10 years’ experience within the gallery and museums sector, as well as commercial project management.

Responsible for large scale hospitality project management, Alice is experienced in managing budgets, onsite deliverables and liaising with clients through every step. She has particular experience of working in Europe and the Middle East.

Alina Young

Art Curator & Editorial

 

Alina is dedicated to fostering the growth of both established and emerging artists, leading her to take a key role in Artelier's art curation, marketing and web design. She is an experienced art researcher, having previously worked for Sotheby’s, arts publications and galleries, and is a Russian speaker. 

Marie Boutignon

Art Curator & Styling

 

Marie has international experience in interior design and a keen eye for trends, which fuel her passion for curating timeless spaces down to their finest details. She holds a master’s in interior design from the ENSAAMA school of Art & Design in Paris and is a native French speaker.

Océane Pouélé

Art Curator

Océane is highly artistic and has a passion for research and marketing. Having trained under world class artists in both the UK and Florence, Italy, she has developed a deep understanding of the process of creating art. She also has experience in the museum sector and the marketing industry. Océane is a native French speaker.

Lucy Pratt

Art Researcher 

Lucy is invested in arts access, having gained her early professional experience working in community arts. She is a Young Advisor for Visual Arts South West and a previous Young Ambassador for The Royal West of England Academy. She has a number of years experience in arts administration and research.

Curtis Beeby

Fine Art Technician

 

Curtis has an ability to provide elegant technical solutions implemented to the highest level of craftsmanship. With nearly 20 years’ experience as an art technician, Curtis has collaborated with leading museums and galleries, and has been responsible for installing works by pre-eminent artists such as Turner, Monet, Hockney and Warhol.
