Lambers has a deep understanding and reverence for the gilding craft, refining ancient techniques of gilding with gold, silver and platinum leaf. She works intuitively with this refined palette of subtle hues and shades to skilfully form an image from the individual fragments, revealing her true mastery of the medium.

About the Artist
Janine Lambers is a German artist working from her art studio in New York, US. Lambers trained under the auspices of the German Guild Academy and graduated as a Master Artist and Gilder.
Recent commissions include: a six-metre yacht art mural for a private superyacht; the Rosen House at Caramoor (New York, US); The Hamptons (New York, US); and 740 Park Ave (New York, US). Recognised by discerning art collectors in the Middle East & GCC (Dubai & Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) and internationally, Lambers’ work is held in private art collections in Europe, North America; luxury hotel art projects in the Middle East (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia); and luxury yacht art projects in Europe.
