Spanish artist Ferran Gisbert Carbonell’s expressive artworks emulate the action painting of Modernist masters, with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. A graduate of multiple universities (ENSBA, Universitat Oberta de Catlunya), Gisbert’s award-winning artworks are exhibited worldwide, in numerous public and private spaces.

Ferran Gisbert blurs the lines between creation and perception with his large, forceful brushstrokes, as seen in his dynamic live performances. His rapid, unhesitating process speaks to a balance of spontaneity and meticulous preparation.

Influenced by post-minimalist and sublime traditions, Gisbert’s paintings reflect his deep engagement with color and form.

Each brushstroke reveals the artist’s presence, inviting viewers to explore the context of creation and the bond between the artist, the space, and the artwork.

Recognition & Awards

Ferran Gisbert earned a Master's in Cultural Management from UOC in 2017 and studied Fine Arts at UPV and ENSBA Paris. His artworks have been shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Lima, The Ryder Projects in London, Aural Gallery in Alicante, and Luís Adelantado Gallery in Valencia. He has also created public space projects in Alicante and at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Additionally, he has been involved in educational projects at Aleph College and with the Ministry of Culture of Peru.
